Asking without Anxiety – Level 2This program is only open to folks who have already completed an Asking Without Anxiety workshop with Jenn (either First Steps to Asking Without Anxiety, Asking Without Anxiety - Level 1, and or participation in the 6-month Fundraising Certificate Program).Join Jenn Hayslett and a community of colleagues for this lively three-hour workshop to take a deeper dive into building relationships with donors in meaningful ways. Asking without Anxiety – Level 2 is designed to support you in gaining confidence, being more prepared, and feeling less anxious in donor conversations.
In Asking Without Anxiety Level 2, you will:
✔ Develop your “curious listening” questions to help match your organization’s work and mission with your donors’ philanthropic goals. ✔ Articulate your “case for support” and clarify your plans for using collateral material. ✔ Learn tips and tools for setting an “ask” amount, making a “double ask,” asking for campaign and planned giving, and using a proposal with a donor. ✔ Practice making a donor ask in a small supportive group. Registration is limited to allow ample time for practice and feedback. This is an interactive session. Come ready to participate with your screen on. When you sign up, you will receive some pre-work to do that will take you approximately 1 hour to complete. |
The Details
When?
- Thursday, February 15, 2024, 9:00 a.m.-12 noon. On Zoom
- You will receive your link when registration is complete and payment is received.
Pricing
- Early Bird Pricing - Discount preferred program price of $225 with registration on or before December 1.
- Regular Pricing - Standard program cost of $250 with registration between December 2 and January 5, 2024.
- Late Pricing - Program cost of $275 with late registration between January 6 - February 2nd, 2024.
- The final date to register is February 2.
Registration and Payment
- Payments can be made by check, Venmo, or ACH direct deposit.
- Payments need to be made in full by February 2nd 2024
- You will receive a formal invoice upon your registration. If your organization is paying for your participation, you can submit the invoice for payment.
- If you are paying on your own, please note, professional development coursework and coaching are tax deductible on your Schedule C of your income tax.
- You can request a full refund if we receive your request by January 19th. After this, no refunds will be made.
- Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full.
